Our story

Passionate about cars, our founder created this showroom to connect collectors with iconic vehicles from history

Michael’s passion for cars began early. At fifteen, he was already replacing engines in Mustangs, developing a hands-on understanding of mechanical systems. He went on to work for years alongside a Mustang restorer, learning the craft of sourcing, evaluating, and restoring cars with care and respect for originality.

A degreed engineer from the University of Arizona, Michael studied aerospace and mechanical engineering, where his appreciation for design, performance, and precision deepened. He later restored Volkswagens, pairing each car with its original engine to preserve authenticity and character. Today, his lifelong experience and engineering mindset shape the philosophy behind Blue Mountain Garage, where every car is maintained, enjoyed, and valued for the story it carries.

Blue Mountain Garage was created by Michael as a way to share his lifelong love of cars and the stories behind them with his children. What began as a personal collection has grown into a family endeavor, with Michael working alongside his kids to thoughtfully acquire and sell cars that meet their standards of drivability and beauty. Each vehicle is selected not only for its condition, but for its character and the experience it offers behind the wheel.

German automobiles naturally align with this philosophy, combining engineering integrity with timeless design. The collection is supported by Air Cooled Artisans, doing business as Eisenbud’s, a full-service vintage Porsche maintenance and restoration shop owned by the family. Blue Mountain Garage has also partnered with Paddock Imports, a full-service import garage specializing in BMW and other German manufacturers, ensuring every car is maintained with the care and expertise it deserves.
